Sailor Moon mini-collection

Hello everyone! 

This is my Sailor Moon mini collection. I love the series, however I'm not into collecting every single toy from all seasons. I'm more nostalgic so I just go to buy the items I liked the most from when I was a child (and even now).

These are gashapon. I think these were expensive at first, but compared to the quality the price is ok.

Hola a todos!

Esta es mi mini-colección de Sailor Moon. Amo la serie sin embargo solo me gusta comprar los items que más me gustan, incluso desde pequeña.

Estos son gashapon. Me parecieron un poco caros al principio, pero comparando el precio con la calidad están bien. 

I've only used these chopsticks twice. They are very pretty but I think I'm better with wooden chopsticks.

Solo usé estos palillos dos veces. Son lindos pero me llevo mejor con los palillos en madera. 

These chocolates were a gift from a friend in my University. She knew my taste very well, haha. I already ate them and the taste was nothing special, but the box is super pretty!

Estos chocolates me los regaló una amiga de la Universidad. Ella conoce mis gustos muy bien, jaja. Ya me los comí pero el sabor no fue nada especial. Eso si, la caja es divina y la guardé!

I tried three times for these girls (I got Venus twice). They are very cute and now they hang from my closet. The quality?...not so good for its price.

Intente tres veces para obtener estas niñas (Venus salió repetida). Son muy lindas y ahora decoran mi closet. Pero la calidad deja mucho que desear para lo que cuestan. 

Now to my two favourite sets: The lockets and the wands! These are the first lockets collection that was released as gashapon. These went out of stock really fast (in one day). I had to go to central Tokyo at 7 am, get in line before Yodobashi-Camera opened, get a turn ticket (only 5 tries each person) and wait another hour. I was very lucky to get the five of them at once! For the price, the quality is very good! not disappointed.

Ahora sigamos con mis dos sets favoritos; Los broches y las varas de transformación! Estos son los primeros broches que fueron lanzados como gashapon. Se acabaron super rapido en todas las tiendas (en solo un día). Tuve que ir al centro de Tokyo a las 7 am, formarme en linea antes de que abrieran la tienda, obtener un tíquet (solo 5 intentos por persona), y esperar otra hora. Fui muy afortunada de que me salieron todos con los primeros intentos! para lo que costaban, me gusto mucho el detalle, el tamaño y la calidad.

The wands are my most recent purchase. Even though these are also gashapon, I decided to get them online. I try three times for the first set of four wands, and I got the lunar stick every time. Unbelievable! So I decided to stop wasting money, sell the lunar sticks I got and buy the sets online.

As expected, the price was higher than getting directly from gashapon however it is worth it.

This is the first set:

Las varas son mi compra más reciente. Aunque estas también eran gashapon, decidí comprarlas en internet. Intenté tres veces directamente en las máquinas de Gashapon, pero me salió el cetro lunar las tres veces. Increibe! así que mejor decidí vender los cetros lunares, y comprar los sets completos en internet. 

Como era de esperarse, fue más caro comprarlos en internet pero la calidad lo valen. Son preciosisímas! 

Este es el primer set:

And this is the second set. This set was the hardest to get, because the availability is reduced and the prices are super high! (two, three...four times its original price and still rising).

Y este es el segundo set. Fue el más difícil de conseguir, porque estaban agotados y los precios son altísimos! (dos, tres, cuatro veces el precio original, y contando).

Now to the UFO figures. Sailor Moon took me and my boyfriend some money to get haha, but we had a lot of fun playing for this!

Ahora, las maquinas de ovni. De ahi mi novio y yo logramos sacar esta figura. Tuvimos que intentar muchas veces pero nos divertimos un montón! 

And some months later, we got Chibi Moon, and this time we played a lot better.

Y unos meses después, sacamos la de Chibi Moon. Esta vez jugamos mucho mejor.

And finally....the Proplica! I always wanted this and I was so so so sooo happy when it arrived. Some reviews said that people were very disappointed because the proplica was shiny, in contrast with the matte image BANDAI had been promoting. I had the opportunity to see this before its releasing in Anime Japan 2015 so it was no surprise for me. Additionally, a Japanese TV program showed the real look of the proplica. Anyway, I LOVE IT!

Y finalmente...la Proplica! siempre quise este broche y por eso estaba tan emocionada cuando me llego. Algunos reviews mostraban personas inconformes por que la proplica era más brillante que lo que BANDAI mostraba en sus imagenes promocionales, sin embargo tuve la fortuna de verla antes de su lanzamiento en el Anime Japan 2015 así que no fue una sorpresa para mi. Además, un comercial en TV Japonesa mostró la verdadera apariencia de la proplica. De todas forma, ME ENCANTA!

お花見 ~ Sakura!

Hello everyone!

Como ya muchos sabrán, la temporada de Sakura ya está aquí! esta es la temporada en la que se pueden ver todos esos hermosos y delicados pétalos rosa decorando las calles Japonesas.

Personalmente, me gusta esta temporada porque puedo relajarme de mi estudio, y simplemente puedo salir y disfrutar de la vista (y de la felicidad de otras personas) y relajarme.

Este año tengo planeado un お花見 (Ohanami: Apreciar las flores de cerezo) el 4 de Abril, pero con el pronostico del clima, dudo que las alcance a ver ese día. Va a empezar a llover desde mañana y eso significa...adios Sakura por este año.

Pero por supuesto no me iba a quedar sin hacer un picnic con mis amigas, así que aquí les dejo algunas fotos del ohanami que celebre este año. Espero les gusten.

As many of you most know, now is cherry blossom (Sakura) season in Japan! this is the time where you can see those beautiful and delicate pink petals decorating Japanese streets ~

I personally like this season a lot because I can have a rest from my study, and go outside and enjoy the view (and the happiness of other people) and just relax.

This year I have an お花見 (Ohanami: Cherry blossom viewing) on April 4th, however it seems that the weather will not be good and it will start raining from tomorrow, which basically means...goodbye Sakura.

However, there was no way I was going to miss an opportunity to enjoy a picnic with my friends so here are some pictures of the ohanami this year. I hope you enjoy them.

Anime Japan 2015 @Tokyo Big Sight.

Hello!

Ayer fui al Anime Japan 2015 con mis amigos. El evento fue celebrado en el Tokyo Big Sight, el cual es un lugar muy famoso para hacer grandes convenciones y exhibiciones de todo tipo.

El evento continuará hoy, Domingo 22 con más presentaciones y cosplay, sin embargo decidí ir solo un día.

Mis amigos y yo llegamos a la estación alrededor de las 9 am (las puertas se abrían desde las 10 am), para estar no tan lejos de la entrada al evento. Como se espera de estos eventos grandes, el lugar ya estaba lleno desde antes de las 9. Después de que llegamos nos tomó alrededor de 1 hora entrar. Debo decir que en Japón se siente bien hacer fila, pues todo es muy organizado y las personas respetan tu lugar. Para la gran cantidad de personas que habían, me pareció que entrar en 1 hora fue rápido jaja.

Yesterday I attended the Anime Japan 2015 that was celebrated at the Tokyo Big Sight, a very famous place to big cons.

The event will continue today with more stage presentations and more cosplay, however I decided to attend only yesterday.

Me and my friends arrived to the station around 9:00 am (gates were opened from 10 am) to be not so far from the entrance. Of  course, we were expecting a huge crowd even one hour before and we were right. After we arrived there, it took us around 1 hour to enter. I have to say, in Japan getting in line is always good since people respect your place and everything is very organised. For the huge amount of people waiting before us, I have to say 1 hour wait was fast haha.

This is me and my friends before getting in line (kind of casual clothing that day for me):

Mientras entrábamos nos dieron una bolsa con información general del evento. De ahí empezamos a caminar por los stands. Si les interesa, esta es la lista completa de las compañías, escuelas, tiendas, etc., que asistieron.
✩ ~ ／人 ◕‿‿◕ 人＼ ~ ✩ As we entered we received a bag with the general event information and we started walking around the stands. If you are interested, this is the full list of the companies, colleges, stores, etc., that had a booth there.

Desde ahí solo seguimos caminando y disfrutando de los nuevos lanzamientos y anuncios de las compañías. También visitamos el área de Cosplay, sin embargo no tomé muchas fotos ahí porque tenía que formarme en linea para cada nuevo Cosplayer, y en las líneas habían muchos fotógrafos esperando. Si tuviera una cámara mejor que solo la de mi iPhone, habría esperado por cada uno.

From there on we just continued walking and enjoying the new releases and announcements from the companies. We also visited the Cosplay area, however I didn't take many pictures since I had to get in line every time and there were many photographers for each one. If I had had a camera besides my iPhone, I would had waited for each Cosplayer but bleh.

Todos los Nendoroid  de la Good Smile Company (GSM). Tengo pre-ordenado el Nendo de Elsa (Frozen) y lo tenían exhibido ahí. Es precioso! Ya quiero tenerlo en mis manos. El Nendoroid de Elsa estaba lejos de mi y no pude tomarle una foto decente.

All the Nendoroids from Good Smile Company (GSC). I pre-ordered the Elsa (Frozen) Nendo and it was exhibited there. It's beautiful! I want it now! The Elsa Nendo was quite far from me so I couldn't take a decent picture.
